Over the years, the Sonshine Club has been fortunate to receive many 'thank you' letters from parents and positive testimonials from associated organisations, health professionals and other interested parties.
In addition some of our volunteers and older Club children have received commendations and recognition of achievement as part of the Sonshine Club's ongoing life education programme. Below are just a few examples.
Motor skills group
Thank you for the opportunity to develop and run the motor skills groups for children in the north of the borough.
Therapists have found them beneficial for the children, enjoyable and challenging at times. The groups have been a great way for therapists to further develop their skills in working with groups of children to improve their participation in gross and fine motor activities. Therapists are able to apply these skills to other groups of children that they see and so it has been beneficial for other children also.
I look forward to continuing to work with you to further develop the groups.

Born 4 Sport
The collaborative work between Born 4 Sport and Sonshine Club has been such a positive experience.
The boys have shown great improvement since the first session not only with their skills and participation but their attitudes towards working together as a team positively.
Born 4 Sport
I have been aware for some time that there is a desperate need with the Orthodox Jewish community for an organisation such as yours to provide the facilities it does for those who need them.
A number of my patients are beneficiaries of the work and activities of the Sonshine Club and it is a delight to see how much they enjoy themselves and how much good it does for them individually to boost their confidence and utilise their talent.

Dear Sonshine Club,
Thank you so much for arranging such an enjoyable, interactive and informative event on Sunday night. It was so refreshing!
Wishing you continued hatzlocha in all you do
Connecting to the natural world
It's wonderful to see children develop new skills as well as their connection to the natural world through the variety of activities the Sonshine Club offers.
Springfield Park Development manager
Chaya Gruber has demonstrated her leadership and team skills when working as part of a team with the children and therapists. She works hard to help the children engage with the activities through; behaviour management, providing children 1:1 support when needed, and helping to arrange the room/activity.
Chaya has been instrumental in bridging the gap of social diversity and helping both the children and therapists understand each other whilst maintaining a respectful environment.
