Improved motor skills can also offer further benefits

The positive effects of attending motor skills group sessions are long term, as therapists help educate parents on the importance of physical activity and how it can be built into a child’s the daily routine.

By being with other children at a similar development level and given the supportive nature of the group, children enhance their motor skills and obtain a ‘yes I can’ attitude, which has a overwhelmingly positive effect on their interaction with peers and their performance within their educational setting.

Improved motor skills helps development of cardio-vascular fitness and provides opportunities to develop multiple skills that are transferable to their education and future working lives.
